About memory, light, and the soft distortion of time.
“While You Were Here” explores how memory moves - like light through water, blurred yet luminous. Shapes drift and overlap, as though seen through the surface of a pond. Flecks of coral, green, and gold rise and dissolve, capturing both presence and absence - what remains and what slips quietly away.
It is a painting about holding on and letting go, about how even what fades still shimmers beneath the surface. Calm yet charged, it feels suspended between worlds - where loss transforms into something tender and alive.
